Balancing our Humility
Most of us are a mix of marginalized popover available and privileged. None of us know everything.
It's important not to get so caught up in our own marginality that we overlook where we are privileged and could be harming others, such as through failing to be intersectional popover available, or through carelessly harming others and being UUOs popover available
At the same time, we can't get so caught up in our own privileges, that we waste emotional energy on feeling guilty. Wallowing in guilt doesn't actually help anyone. Beating yourself up mentally won't undo what's already been done. Channel what energy you can into tangible efforts to counteract your privilege, and save some energy for counteracting and coping with the microaggressions popover available and marginality in your own life.
